Welcome to The Runge Mortuary and Crematory

The Runge Mortuary and Crematory was established in 1895 by Henry Runge. For over a century, five generations of the Runge family have led the way in mortuary and crematory services for the Davenport area.  Our red brick, colonial building has been a landmark in Davenport since 1969.  Our large building and well kept grounds create a park-like setting as families approach the mortuary. Furthermore, we are centrally located within one mile of the three main cemeteries in Davenport, including Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery.

Today, we are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial national network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. We are committed to exceeding expectations and delivering a standard of service that is 100 percent guaranteed.  The Runge Mortuary and Crematory offers a full range of Dignity Memorial plans and benefits to help create memorable services.
